The sound of my buddies hitting the water....made the letters green in their honor!
The dang frogs were plop plop plopping...the whole run...after my run lope or wog...yesterday in the park...this was somewhat better...I think that I need to get these muscles back into the groove..I am a little sore this morning...and had a little struggle getting me out of my comfy bed...but I managed to throw myself out ...hit the hot humid road early....at the bottom of my hill it seemed ok...bearable anyway...but as I reached the top of the hill...whooaaaa....it was so HUMID..and no breeze....eventually my own perspiration cooled me a little....or maybe it was me imagining 60 degree weather with a nice little breeze blowing over the lake...
anyway.............
I made it on around and found my friend over in his usual spot about the time of my run.....I stopped to talk to him for a minute...I have not had time over the week and I wanted to touch base so...we visited and I am glad..he is so faithful ...every morning he is out there walking at his pace....and always smiling......talking about his wife and grandchildren....
I am going to run again tomorrow...plan to be doing something everyday to get me back into this.....
song of the day!:....little of your time...maroon 5 (good run song)
word of the day: ......coruscate... to reflect bright beams of light...; sparkle.... :-)
toodles to all!

".....I have had a time getting my breathing right.....I am sure that will come...but it seems like I struggled with this when I was getting ready for the marathon last year...hopefully, i will get it straight..."
Hey, try breathing in rhythm with your feet, every two steps exhale, then every two steps-inhale. Even non-musicians can do it that way. HA!!!
Glad things are starting to click with the running. You are an inspiration. Tell Beaver I said hello.
