well......it HAS been a long long time....
I have been to the beach several times....and just came back
from the mountains....picked my youngest up from camp....MAN is it
beautiful there!....I think that I will be going back to visit soon....TOO nice to stay away from for long.....
Guess you might want to know about this run....well...frankly...IT SUCKED!!!!....but I did it....I had promised myself by this week...I would get back to it...and sooo here I am....since this seems to keep me more accountable than any partner....I am writing....
At some point this summer I have found myself able to relax and enjoy the moments of good that have been mine. Most of the time those are related to my children.....when we share a laugh or invite someone to visit that we all enjoy......or we pass a milestone that seems to have been a mountain at one time. ..... ...
This week when I picked my youngest up from north carolina...i loved watching all of those dirty loud boys sing and laugh and share jokes together....it reminded me of one of my favorite stories....Peter Pan...all those kids in neverland laughing and making messes and sharing and caring together.....those are all gifts.......precious ones that I have forgotten to appreciate over the last few years.....maybe that is why now...i can say thank you and truly mean it with all of me.....
I started my usual routine...walking to the stop sign...and then running over the dam....my neighbors ahead of me......walking at a fast steady pace......I managed to keep my breathing right until after I had passed them and moved on a round....and then found myself struggling with that....and noticed that these legs are really out of practice....but i moved on...and then walked most of the way....it felt good to just do it..so...i am really not sooo displeased....since i have not done a thing since before the end of june.......
this is sooo much rambling and I hope that it is not toooo boring......

thanks for your comment on my blog... I enjoyed yours too. I remember the days of picking mine up at camp. I went one time and thought she'd be so ready to come home... she was, but not until I'd met all the counselors and cabin mates and I think everyone else there! She had a blast and went back several years there. Anyway... welcome back
