The day started out with me groaning over my dang big toe....
I managed to fall down the other night.....took my heels off to walk down an embankment....got down to the car and fell flat on my back...and NO before you say to yourself...hmmm tooo much wine?....NOPE!....I was at a banquet for my son.....luckily, no one was near where I parked and missed seeing me fall with my skirt over my head.....great huh?....the toe looks terrible but not as bad as it looks...but decided yesterday I might need to let it heal a little...sooo got up this morning and went to the flats....I just ran about 2 miles.....I want this thing to heal ...soooo i think I am going to just run again tomorrow and I ought to be good to go........sure did feel foolish....falling like that.......
on to other things....my house is totally dismantled except for my bathroom and bedroom.....the rest of the place looks like a war zone....but the color is great..and I got a new flower bed put in yesterday.....something really neat to look at in the early mornings.....
I am excited that I finally have some things done.....just need to get on the rest of it........this painter has motivated me......that is a good thing!
I am skipping church and the boys and I are cooking steaks on the grill...and I guess I'll have to get on the mountain of wash that always awaits me.....Happy Mother's day to all...
