Good Friday is here!.....I woke up without an alarm this morning...
The sun was not up....so I laid there for a while..and then got me ready to run......my friend was not in a running mood since all the teenagers in her house kept her up most of the night...woohoo....mine are on best behaviour because their mother is on the warpath......let's just say.....sometimes you have to remind them of a few things...anyway....I should have been a little more consistent ...and I am irritated with myself for not handling some things better....but oh well....no manual when you have kids..................
I went to the park entrance today...after yesterday taking myself to the flats with patrol cars sitting at the entrance.....i drove on past got out and ran 4 miles or so..and then found out that the bank 1/4 of a mile down the road had been robbed and they were looking for the guy who did it....IN THE PARK!!!....well...thank you mr. deputy sheriff for warning me.....!!!!......wooohooo.....the park ranger was in the mass of patrol cars sitting there...so I am going to assume on the positive side they were just shooting the breeze...right?......hmmmp....
anyway......
the day is sooo gorgeous.....my ipod is feeling a little under the weather so i had to go without music....but I listened to the birds and the squirrels talking and singing......my mind wanders when there is no music to listen to....I gave myself over to the pat pat pat of my feet on the concrete......thinking to friends and others that have lead me thro this life.....I wonder if they know what influence they have had and if they can see me here doing this.......... I wonder at God and all He has provided for us in this world that we live in......I have a sense of Him when I run that I have at no other time...I know that He is responsible for this world and the blessings that I have.......I don't consider me to be some great Christian really in the scheme of things I am me...nothing more...........I wonder if he has his stopwatch...and says...ole girl..you need to step it up...your time stinks....lol.......oh well.......I am running..that is all I know......he sure has made a beautiful place to do it in.......................
