I got thro with work at 715.....came home to an empty house...so, took advantage of the quiet and hit the road......I am determined to do some things this week...mostly run more than I have...I am going to take off tomorrow...cause i have to get up at 445 to get a pt ready for surgery...don't be too impressed...I am usually the last one to work every morning..so, I drew the short straw....they don't believe I'll make it.......and I don't want them to count on it too much...but I owe em this one......LOL....
The evening breeze greeted me as I hit the dam ....the lake was black and sparkly with the light from the streets shining on the surface.....me....well...I was dodging road kill and fast cars with teenage drivers...but after I got thro the optical course...I managed to get into some rhythm..and seemed to run a little better than the Sunday morning run...........
Pray that the two pts I left are delivered now....they were young and scared...and I tend to worry over pts like I do my children.....sometimes I feel I have more control over them than I do my kids....well...Not really...but at least sometimes feel like I can fix their problems better....more equipped I think....................soo serious....that is me...
sometimes...in the past...I have not been able to see past the trees to the forest......lol...you KNOW what I mean...well......the perspective has been off......i think...I am beginning to see the forest............
