Today....I saw an old friend......she looked a little on the tired side...But it has been a while since we visited....and that may just be a reflection of myself......her arms were open wide and she smiled and hugged me.....she reminded me of other days that we were together.....and how we had made it thro some pretty tough times ....together.............soooo......
as I opened my eyes this morning....i stretched and threw clothes around til I found something appropriate to greet my friend in.......(you know girls..)...we gotta look the part....anyway................I managed to get out the door at 530......the day is cloudy but the stars tried to peak out behind the scattered clouds.....the music pushed me out....and the road beckoned.....and as i rounded the bend...there was the lake .....the stillness on its surface calming and beautiful....reflecting the lamposts that I began to run to........the breeze blew refreshing air on this face....and the words to the music gave me something to concentrate on instead of these unused muscles.....and now....
I gotta get to work....cause I am still sitting in here in these sweaty clothes.......this day has started off right!......
