to transmogrify is to transform......
I was piddling on the computer and there is some site that has a word of the day on it.....i have seen it before but decided to check it out this evening instead of doing the stupid pie charts that i am supposed to do for homework...cause the program will not do what i want it to do..........and the whole class is fussing about it.....it makes you crazy...cause you need to have it do the things right...!!!...anyway...i digress....
this word apparently was used a lot by the writer of calvin and hobbes.....you know the cartoon....i liked it....cause i think i would like to transmogrify a few things....and a few people too while i am at it.......
wouldn't you like to go in a room and transmogrify the dog into a cat.....and the rocks in a stream to coins.......and wouldn't it be neat if you could say...hey...i am a transmogrifier......and transform leaves into paper money.........hmmmmyep....
that would be nice......but alas no....i am not a transmogrifier...i am just little ole me!...
dang it!
i am tired tired tired........i had a pt today that was very demanding.....no amount of
reassurance or education would satisfy....apparently the off going shift had made her mad and upset....and I spent the remainder of the day trying to appease the woman.........i wished then i could be a transmogrifier........inspite of all that...she still had this beautiful little baby boy....
he came into the world screaming ...... those hands reaching..........and at that time....i didn't want to transmogrify a thing....cause the moment was perfect...
i have to take my oldest to meet a bus at 4...i may or may not run....who knows...
