starting over

well one more time!

ran earlier this week...me and the ipod and the music and the road starting over again.....the hill from my house i walked until i could see the edge of the lake...
steam rising from the dark colored water..trees reflected in the far off depths...
and then....slowly.....i started my same old pat pat pat....reminding me of someone far away calling my name.....the sun was already out..and feels good on this body that has not been outside lately....the hall of hospital and house the only place i have been...and it is a relief to know that it is fresh and beautiful out here....no pain or sickness or tears to make the day blue......i have missed this.....and vow to not let myself go so long to do this .......the morning is quiet and the only ones i see are a few soccer moms in vans and 2 walkers that pay me no mind.........it is good to be here listening to my music......i am listening to the slow stuff..except for a few..because i think i can keep the pace to rock and roll and drum beats that will kill me if i attempt that pace.....lol...... the sounds of elton john, dianna krall.....journey....chicago....cheryl crow....all singing for me as i walk and run.....40 min...3 miles......whew.....i will feel it tomorrow.....but it is good.....and i am ready to start over.....again.......
